Always try to remember – If running your business feels hard, exhausting, and painful, you’re probably doing it right. As Coldplay’s Chris Martin sang, “Nobody said it was easy. No one ever said it would be this hard”. At Rhinoson Safety Services we’ve learned that business owners who say running a business is easy aren’t telling the truth. Think of it like getting a tattoo. Again, from experience, anyone who says getting a tattoo is easy isn’t telling the truth. Getting ‘inked’ and starting a business often have the same initial thought – Oh God! Why did I bother?

Struggling is part of the journey. Every business struggles. Facing adversity and uncertainty head on is what wins the business day. It’s O.K to use the stool, just don’t throw in the towel. Accept the challenges and don’t become self-critical.
